I am thrilled to share this custom wedding crest! This sweet bride contacted me about a wedding crest to use for her invitations and other decor for the wedding. She had some overall thoughts and color schemes that will be used in the wedding, so I took them and ran with it!
First step was hitting the sketch book. After taking the notes she had given me, I came up with a few different sketches.
Once we nailed down the design through the sketch, then came the fun part. Watercolor! This bride is using lots of white flowers in the floral arrangements with pops of royal blue in other details for the day. Taking that into account, the final crest was created.
To keep this custom look throughout the details of the wedding, this bride also requested to have the crest done without the initials so that the crest can be used as table numbers at the reception. It's always fun to see the ways that brides use this form of artwork in their big day!
